Photo title: Perfect Columbines
Outside Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
In loving rememberance of the teens who lost their lives in Norway, and with wishes for peace and solace for their families.
Quote of the day: “Family isn’t always blood, and blood isn’t always family. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything for you, and love you no matter what.” — Anonymous
Daily gratitudes:
My daughter
My own tender heart
That love conquers all – even selfishness, denseness, and being lost – eventually
The 3-mile walk to the store and back
That I can buy San Pellegrino by the case

One thing the rain has done (at least in the mountains) is make everything lush.

My heart is heavy. It hurts to imagine that amount of suffering. “Family isn’t always blood…” Amen

I know, wayward bound. I am trying to keep psychicly clear of it, as my empathic nature is naturally leaning towards becoming absorbed by that level of pain on the part of those lost and those left behind.

Beautiful photo. The mood, the colors and the composition are exceptional. So is your quote of the day.
