Love the photos… I’ve been capturing daily pics myself since January of 2008. I love being able to look back on the past 4 years of my life and having vivid memories of each day. I’ve got to ask, what was your inspiration? I really enjoy your daily gratitudes! Keep up the good work.

Thanks, mrbillmccoy! I don’t shoot deliberately daily right now, though I always have the camera with me. The daily photo (for me) evolved as a way to discipline myself to post every day, and to share my photographic eye – particularly the travel-related shots – with the world. The gratitudes are also an excellent tool to help me remember to notice the small things that bring me joy, and thank the universe for them. We take life for granted, and rush through it, all too often. I’m literally a “stop and smell the roses” girl. Thanks for visiting!
