That’s about what it looks like here! Often heavy, brooding skies. And then the yellows/golds. There are so many evergreens and so few deciduous trees that there are green green green and yellow areas.
But that looks way higher up than this island!! 🙂
Nice photo!

Yes, I love those little pockets of gold! We’re heading back up this morning after an adventurous yesterday.

Have a great time! I know we will be the beneficiaries of your eye and camera!
And I get to tuck in Meghan on Thursday for a few days! Can’t wait. Although she probably thinks she is coming to tuck me in (while Rudi talks 90 minutes in Japan). 🙂

Always seems funny to fly for 16 hours to talk for 90 minutes, doesn’t it?

Flying 28 hours, sitting in airports about 4 hours on top of that! Talking 90 minutes. That’s why I bowed out of this visit, although I am sending Rudi with quite the shopping list of things he can get in any convenience store. Except he can’t bring me those amazing ice cream cones. Darn!

It is. I love it so much, so deeply. I can’t describe it. I do think I used to live there at one time. I can’t explain the draw or the connection otherwise.

Interestingly, my new beau was just saying the same thing yesterday. And Kelsea feels that way as well.

Very interesting!!
Isn’t it? Have they been there to feel it live and in person?

No, neither ever has.

Seaweetie–great depth of field! I can see the light on the mountain tops in the distance.

Spring and Fall are amazing times to be here. It’s such a contrast to the seaside in its sense of peace. Both are peaceful but in totally different ways.
