This little Hawaiian guy loved his morning honey.
I know it’s technically January 12, but since I’m still up (just finished working), I felt compelled to post. At least I did one thing today that WASN’T about working.
Quote of the Day: “Remember how great you feel when your life is filled with love and joy and health and creativity? This is how our lives are meant to be lived.” – Louise Hay
Daily gratitudes:
That the snow wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
My morning bus driver who I have secretly nicknamed Eyeore.
Picking up Kelsea after her homework time at Starbucks.
Meatballs.
Bed.

I thought he looked like the Geico guy too! 9 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours – one more killer night to go.

I love that quote! It is so true. I have a funny story about Louise Hay though, I went through a phase where I read several of her books, but one said that people who wear glasses do so because they have fooled themselves into believing they need them, I am brutally near sighted, and my Mom and I have such similar vision that once when my glasses broke I was able to wear an old pair of hers for the three weeks it took for the lenses to come in. I was absolutely disgusted with that observation so I set the book down on my lawn chair and went inside to make myself a cup of tea, and while I was in the house the dog ate the book. I took it as a sign from the universe!!!
