It’s cold and snowy here, I’m housesitting, and the animals here woke me up every three hours just like an infant. Today, I need to work, deal with problems, hang with Roscoe, and shovel my sidewalk, which means buying a metal shovel. I really want my beach.

Why did they wake you up every three hours? Glad to hear Roscoe is improving. I don’t know the cutie, but give him a hug for me.

Because my ex-husband has a weird schedule and the animals are all on his clock. He goes to sleep in his chair about 8:30. Kelsea lets the dogs out when she goes to bed about 11:00. Pat lets them out when he gets up to go to bed about 2:30. He gets up at 6:00 to feed them. Hence, their schedule. Ugh. I will give Roscoe a hug for you, definitely. He loves hugs.

Oh…I can surely understand why…hopefully it’s not that wet snow that’s like shoveling bricks.

Ugh, no. It’s the ice beneath it that I have to chop up that’s the problem.

The beach….what a great picture! You can almost feel the warm sun, the frothy drink, the hot cabana boy and your toes digging in the sand. Damn you! Maybe someday soon!

Ah, yes, Jana – i was looking at airfares today, and wondering what I could do to make it happen. Perhaps a third job? Doing nothing but sleeping on the beach would be okay with me, as long as someone woke me up to take a sip of my frothy drink once in a while.

I have the beach, but is it windy and cold right now, but it is the beach! You can watch the birds and boats and listen to the time in each wave!

I love wintery beaches, RaeDi. Cold and romantic, and as you say, you can hear the time in the waves. I hope you are doing okay.

I need this too! Too tired of winter, I need to be reminded that blue waters and powdery white sand beaches exist somewhere. 😉

I hope El Nido is not too far in your future, Malou! It looked so lovely.
