I have a hard time disposing of faded blooms, and apparently, so do the people in The Boathouse Restaurant up in the quaint and wonderful town of Salida. They hold a beauty all their own.
Salida, Colorado.

Salida! I bought almost 200$ worth of beads at a beadstore there..and had the little card in my wallet for years, stamped with a little hole-punch for each 10$..and I could have had 20% off or so if I had gone back there, but I never did and eventually threw it out. Such a cute town!

Isn’t it, Jennifer? I’ve spent a bunch of time in Buena Vista, but this was the first time I’d been to Salida – and it won’t be the last! Great shops, nice people, and excellent photo ops.

Oh yes. At the time, I didn’t even have a cell phone. It was stuck in the side of my van. So I couldn’t take pictures. I would love to see yours! Colorado is so pretty, I would love to go back there someday.

I should be putting more up in the coming weeks. My daughter and I spent the long weekend there and at Mesa Verde. Stop back by! And come visit Colorado!
