Because even though it was not quite as cold as yesterday, it was a damp cold today, and I was miserable. The bus was late, my toes were frozen, and I had prepared myself for a slightly warmer day. My mistake. I was shivering from the inside out. So let’s retreat to this place in the middle of the sea, with my feet in warm water, covered in soft sand, my hand in MKL’s, and my gaze on the future.
The Caribbean Sea, Exuma Islands, Bahamas.

Just read through your About page. Wow….all I can say is “My Gosh.” We have never met, talked often, and I think of you even oftener…. I am truly amazed by our similar journeys. You’ve come a long way, baby!

I know what you mean about the shivering. I was at a meeting in a basement last night, and by the time I got into my van to go home, I was stiff from trying to shiver myself warm. I was so glad for the vehicle heater as my fingers thawed. I felt like I was nearly in frostbite mode. Anyway, stay warm, this is a winter to make us really appreciate the summer to come.

Indeed, Lucinda. Please stay warm. I think it’s slowly getting better.
