Maybe all I need is a little seawater, sand, coconut water, and time with MKL to cure what ails me.
Quote of the day: “That’s the thing about depression: A human being can survive almost anything, as long as she sees the end in sight. But depression is so insidious, and it compounds daily, that it’s impossible to ever see the end.” — Elizabeth Wurtzel

I have been struggling with depression all my life. This quote hits home. It gets worse in the fall and winter. I am learning new ways to deal. It’s challenging. I am reading a wonderful book called Touched with Fire: Manic-Depressive Illness and the Artistic Temperament by Kay Redfield Jamison. Some of our great creative minds faced the challenge of depression. It is comforting to know we are not alone. ♡
