(With Jesus photobombing.) I know that St. Francis is often thought of as the patron saint of animals. What he truly loved was all the beauty of nature, seeing God’s touch in all these temporary gifts, and while thought rather crazy by some due to his enthusiasm, he maintained a childlike wonder as he went through the world, or so they say. It’s likely hard to be certain, since he lived in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. But given his love of all things natural and animal, the juxtaposition of the Saint and Bigfoot seemed appropriate. They do look as if they’re having a rather intense discussion. I think they would have found each other fascinating.
