I love that the birds can make use of the old church building..it is still providing refuge for some. I wonder why so many abandoned buildings and towns in that area..it’s amazing that there are so many wild scapes left there that haven’t been turned into sub divisions or shopping malls.

I think that water, mining, and grazing rights are likely a factor in the lack of development. I hope it stays that way.
